Pumpkin, Crafts, & Sheep....Oh My!

This weekend while the boys were working away on our respective houses, my sister and I took the opportunity to hit up a local craft fair and check out some of the goodies they had.

I don't know about you, but I love the whole feel of the craft fairs. So many handmade goods and treats just begging to go home with me and being able to see the talent that these ladies and gents have....ahhhhmazing. I wish I was a crafty girl so I could make and sell my stuff but that's why these peeps are in business. You make, I buy. : )

And fresh produce and food....yes please!!!

I've never had pumpkin funnel cake and no I didn't try any but now that I'm interested in what it would taste like. I'm not a fan of pumpkin except for spiced candles and pumpkin roll, so if you find this, try it and let me know if it's any good.

Did I mention they had sheep there....yes, to pet but also to show their business....

Though there were so many cute crafts that I wanted to scoop up and decorate my house with, our new house and renovation budget did not allow me to get all the goodies I wanted so I settled on making a donation and getting a bagful of used books for $5.
My sister got some books too, along with dog treats and cupcakes for both our dogs.

But we had to keep this little stinker content while me and her momma got our shop on and thank goodness they had a small playground there...
Tell me that is not the look of sheer joy right there?!?

And be still my heart...
THE PUMPKINS ARE HERE!!!
I REPEAT, THE PUMPKINS ARE HERE!!!

Fall starts now beezies, 22nd be damned.

I SO wish I was crafty, too. Then I could just stay at home painting, sewing, glittering....HA!

So I totally hate all things pumpkin, but my MIL makes the yummiest pumpkin+chocolate chip bread. It's to die for...and I think I will be posting the recipe on my blog soon!

You're sissy is stunnning... you all have some damn good genes!

I wish I had some of this nonsense in my area. I don't even think Orlando knows what a sheep is.

I'm calling it too- Fall is here! We went to our "unofficial" end of summer festival this past weekend. As far as I'm concerned, let the Fall decorating begin!!! I'm going to see if Hubby will drag the Halloween totes out of the basement for me (and the Christmas ones too b/c I have some recently purchased goodies I need to store away). I even got some Christmas shopping done this weekend! Good grief, where has this year gone!?!
I love sheep, they are just too cute!

That craft fair looks like so much fun! LOVE that pumpkins are starting to make their appearances. Now, if the fall weather would cooperate!

I had a red velvet funnel cake this summer and it was delightful! I need to get some pumpkins. My mum is lonely on the front porch.

I just wrote and then deleted what I was going to say 5 times! I was at first angry at you because you get a fall with pumpkins and shit like that, but then I realized I love you, and if I can't celebrate fall, then you better just celebrate the hell out of it for me....you hear!

BTW, best slide picture I have ever seen....what a cutie!

No hard feelings then, enjoy the season. xoxo
