And it is time to celebrate the week of hell Mama Dukes was going through before pushing this pretty little face out of her hoo-ha.
If I recollect her story correctly, their was glitter and sparkles and some sort of awesome 80's anthem playing as she pushed that very last push when I busted out into the world.
Imagine it...
Doctor:
Wow, this is the best delivery that I've ever had. This baby is practically delivering herself. Screw it, I'm just going to hand this kid my doctorate because I can do no better than what this baby is doing.
Mama Dukes:
*Softly humming* I feel no pain, why would I need an epidural, this is amazing. June, hand me my curling iron....I'm going to put one last curl in so I look presentable for her.
Doctor:
Ok Mama Dukes, it's time to push.
Mama Dukes:
I can't....I can't let this awesomeness leave me.
Doctor:
MAMA DUKES! YOU MUST....THE WORLD NEEDS HER!!!!
Mama Dukes:
*sigh* pant* pant* light push....*
Then with an explosion of glitter and sparkles and a surprise appearance of the Rainbow Pissing Unicorn dressed in his best set of scrubs jamming to Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing'
Little Woman made her way in the world.
