Our Honeymoon Is Booked!!!

I repeat...

OUR HONEYMOON IS BOOKED!!!

To say that I am excited would be the biggest understatement..

Ahhhh!!! I'm just so happy I could effin' scream.

After our wedding and dealing with all the finances that it brought, it was pretty unrealistic for us to go on a fancy schmancy honeymoon, like we wanted. We are in no ways poor but we're not rolling in dough either, so to us it made sense to hold off on a big honeymoon. 

We still celebrated our wedding with a mini-moon to Atlantic City the weekend after but as far as a 'big honeymoon' we had to put the brakes on it. There were a couple reasons for doing this...

1. Weddings are E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E!

If you ever planned and paid for a wedding you know no matter how small and intimate you want it, you still will be forking over some major dough. 

2. We wanted to get our debt and bills under control first.

I got my car paid off and am now working on some of my debt from before we got married. It's not much but the day I get that out of the way, will be one of the happiest days of my life.

3. I won't have vacation time till the summer. 

Though I would have loved to go right after the wedding, finances did not play out that way. My job shuts down for 2 weeks during the summer and even though I have to collect unemployment, I cannot afford to miss any extra weeks besides that. It just makes more sense to go when I won't have to work. 

But enough about the who's and why's of the past, because now we are, and that's what matters!

I'm not going to give away every detail of our vacation because there are some creepers out there but here is a good look at what we'll be doing....

I'm going on my first cruise!!!

I'm excited and terrified, but mostly excited. 

Big Man has already been on one but I have never and I'm anxious and giddy, wondering what to expect. 

I know for sure I need to kick this working out shizz into high gear so that I am all sorts of bikini and sexy time ready.

This is our honeymoon people, I assure you...some boats will be a rockin' ....lol  ; )

But yes.

I'm excited. 

Nervous. 

Anxious. 

And so many other feelings I can't describe. 

I didn't want to get to excited just in case it didn't happen but it is and I am seriously bursting with happiness. 

I am pinning things left and right and don't think you will get away unscathed. 

I already have a few Q&A posts in the works, so that you ladies will have me prepared to the fullest. 

I am a planner and I am already on top of this shit. 

Big Man will thank me later.
