She's Arrived.Way before I even got my Rebel for Christmas, I had lusted after and knew that I would get one of these pretties, when the time came that I got a DSLR.
Ya know...who cares if you don't have the actual camera, this mama was ahead of the game in the accessorizing department.
So comes Christmas and after the initial shock of "OMFG, I GOT IT! I REALLY GOT IT!!' the next thing that I did was head on over to Etsy to start my browsing.
I've been a long time follower of Ashley from XOXO Handmade and I knew the talent she had in the art of camera strap covers so she was my first stop. To honest, I did browse around a couple other shops but none compared to variety of Ashley's fabric and the impeccable workmanship her pieces are.
So last week when I got some extra 'me' money in, Big Man suggested that I should splurge on myself and get the little lovey I've been coveting. So I did and after a Twitpic of the progress and a short couple of days later this little beauty arrived in the mail.
These aren't the best pictures because I took them at night with not ideal lighting but I can't be happier with what I got. It's a teal and white print with a black ruffle and I lurve it.

And if you have a DSLR than I highly suggest you pretty it up with one of these gorgeous straps. From when I ordered mine I see she has more options available and I might have my eye on another one in the form of yellow and white leafs. ; )

I bought a strap cover from another etsy seller, but I don't really like it. It's not padded like I hoped and it moves around a lot. If I ever decide to get a new one I'll definitely check this seller out.

These are so much better than the ones that come with the camera. I have one from Trendy Camera Straps, and it has a lot of cushioning around the neck!
