So with little wedding tid bits trickling in and out of my mind and wallet, I thought I'd share the latest development in our 'Little Wedding'
We finally designed and ordered our wedding invitations...
You like?!?
I found them on Vista*Print and they were extremely well priced :) I know the print is small in the pic, but if you want to know what it says...
'Together with our parents
We request your presence
At the wedding celebration of the two coolest people you know
Ivy Mae _______
(so country bumpkin right!?)
and
Karl Bryan ______
(oh surprise again...Big Man goes by his middle name Bryan but his real name is Karl...but we'll still refer to him as Big Man around here)'
It then goes on to state our wedding date and so on and so forth. The swirled out areas are last names and venue addresses, things that I don't feel comfortable disclosing on here. I absolutely love them and were glad we got to personalize them the way we wanted. My favorite part is the little I + B that is 'engraved' in the tree....too cute!
In addition to getting the invitations, we also ordered our RSVP cards....
We also got to personalize these and instead of going with the traditional Accept With Pleasure, Decline With Regret that was initially on the card we went with
For Yes: ___ Wouldn't Miss It For The World
For No: ___ Sorry Can't Make It, Sending One Heck Of A Gift
We wanted to be silly and take a little jab at our family and friends that might not be able to attend....they are in no way required to send a gift, but hell I won't stop them if they do : )
How did you ladies do your invites....please share!!!
Did you design your own? Modern? Traditional? Give me the deets!

LOVE them!!! They are so cute, and I love your personalization on them to make them extra fun. You did a great job with these!!!
i love it! really cute!
i love the RSVP wording! too funny!!! :)
we did a traditional one ... nothing special. we def. didn't want to spend too much money on our invites so we didn't!
I managed to make my own dirt cheap. We ordered samples of invitations we liked and designed something similar.
For your response cards: People are inherently stupid and will not write their names on the response cards. I seriously recommend numbering them on the back and having a hard copy of your guest list with corresponding numbers. That way, you'll know which entree your third cousin once removed wants even though she wasn't bright enough to write her name on the card. ((I got this advice two days before our invites went out and was grateful for it!))
these are so freaking cute!
I love these! THe pattern is great and the wording is funny! They look great!
Ours are pretty modern and we went with something like, "because you have shared in our lives with love and laughter, R and J request your presence as they unite in marriage..."
Haha, love the Yes/No part of the invites!
No seriously though, I absolutely love the invites they turned out beautiful and classy! WTG girl.
i was going to comment on that I+B as well! i LOVE that!
looks great - cannot wait to see it all come together! it's so much work, but so worth it in the end!
I loved ours. Finding Pink and Black I liked AND in our price range was hard but they were simple yet elegant and traditional. I considered Vista Print-they are very well priced-but I really wanted the raised print and just a little more elegant vs fun styling. I wanted the raised print. We did use them for Thank You cards though. Yours are so cute.
hahaha i love the RSVP cards
LOVE THEM!! Totally didn't realize VistaPrint did wedding invites. So beautiful!! :)
I think that you made and amazing choice! Soo happy for you both!!!
These are really cute. I'd pick 'em...you know...if I was getting married. :) Love the "no" option.
I flippin' love these. It's nice to see a couples' personality, rather than some stuffy invites. BTW, etta, I'm going to have to remember that about putting numbers on the back of invites!
I love it!!! I'm not really a formal invite person. I think since they are the sneak peek into your day they should show your personality and these are just as lively and fun as you are!!!
Very cute and non-traditional!
Cute!!
If possible, put an email address or phone number for the RSVP's, it significantly increased the amount of RSVP's we got back!
